Hotel Grand Windsor has been awarded COVID Clean approved by Qualmark. This certification acknowledges the hotel is equipped with health and hygiene measures to help protect against COVID-19, in accordance with government guidelines.

The Qualmark COVID Clean award certifies that we meet the following criteria:
- Staff are regularly briefed on the following:
- Latest advice from the Ministry of Health
- Encouraged to use contact tracing methods
- Encouraged to have their Bluetooth turned on
- Encouraged to stay home if they are unwell
- Informed of policies in place to support unwell staff to stay home
- Encouraged to follow the recommended hand hygiene process
- Encouraged to help staff, customers and guests do the same
- Staff are trained in conflict resolution in the event that customers refuse to follow the required COVID-19 safety practices
- Staff are aware of hygiene measures as per COVID-19 safe practices recommended by the Ministry of Health
- Facilities and resources are provided on premise so staff can regularly wash and dry their hands
- Staff understand the different alert levels and requirements of each level
- Staff are aware of health and wellbeing support programs
- Our work practices are aligned with Ministry of Health and Work Safe guidelines
- General cleaning and disinfection advice released by the Ministry of Health has been conveyed to staff
- Suspected COVID-19 case cleaning and disinfection advice released by the Ministry of Health has been conveyed to staff
- Masks and gloves are available to staff at all times
- Staff have been trained in the correct use of PPE gear
