As the holiday season draws nearer, CPG Hotels’ premier Auckland accommodation location, the Hotel Grand Windsor, has launched annual event bookings, along with a few other festive options.
The hotel’s restaurant—Cooke’s Restaurant and Bar—is now available as a venue for corporate Christmas events. If you’re not looking to book a function, there’s a range of menus, crafted by Executive Chef Jinu Abraham, running from the first of November to Christmas Eve.
Not to mention Christmas Day itself! Cooke’s has an exclusive Christmas day menu available for those looking to skip the stress of preparing a lunch or dinner, and celebrate Christmas in style, right in the heart of the city.

Pre Christmas-Festive Standard Beverage Package
Ideal for a corporate Christmas party or a private drink or two, Cooke’s Restaurant and Bar has a few pre-Christmas menus available, including the standard beverage package. Along with the festive drink menu, Cooke’s offers sumptuous sharing plates, delicious main courses, and if you’re a sweet tooth, the Caramelised Chocolate Sorbet can’t be missed.
Christmas High Tea
Each weekend in December, during the lead up to Christmas Day, the Hotel Grand Windsor’s classic High Tea is being re-imagined with a festive twist. During December, the city centre itself takes on a festive atmosphere, and we think a Christmas spin on High Tea is the perfect way to end a day of Christmas shopping, and soaking up the holiday ambience downtown.
The special High Tea menu features a few merry additions, like turkey and walnut sandwiches, and Christmas mince and treacle tarts. Even though it’s on every weekend in December, it’s bound to book out fast, so reserve your spot today!
Christmas Luxury Champagne Breakfast
Between 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM, why not come in for a festive luxury breakfast? Enjoy a glass of champagne on arrival, before sampling a tasting plate of selections from the chef, consisting of watermelon, strawberry & pomegranate, mille-feuille tartlet of French goats’ cheese custard with cherry relish, beetroot cured salmon cornet & caviar, and croissant bread & butter pudding with black garlic puree. Decadent!
After that, Cooke’s offers a continental breakfast, followed by a plated breakfast of your choice.
Christmas Day Menu
Finally, Cooke’s Restaurant & Bar runs beautiful Christmas Day sittings from 12.00 PM for lunch, all the way through to dinner. The menu on the day includes a sparkling festive cocktail and a delicious five-course meal, filled with seasonal produce.
Lunch sittings end at 3:00 PM, and dinner sittings run from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM. Bookings essential, and it’s best to make them early!
